Welcome to the next generation of gaming. I’m positive most of you have got heard about the latest piece of GameBoy hardware, GameBoy Advance. Will probably be an obvious enhancement over the current Game Boy Color. Although GameBoy Colour has been producing and promoting like loopy previously two years, due to the Pokemon online game fad and the launch of shade in the system, Nintendo has determined to take probabilities and launch a brand new, extremely technological handheld gaming system, GameBoy Advance. Here is the scoop in regards to the system and what you must expect.

GameBoy Advance is a excessive tech gizmo, at the least from what I heard. It is going tobe released with a 32-bit CPU, a terrific enhancement over the 8-bit GameBoy Color. This means, a higher processing rate, which leads to higher graphic help, sound, capacity and sport speed. The system will have a better resolution than the GameBoy Color and can nonetheless be appropriate with previous programs, Game Boy, Game Boy Pocket and GameBoy Color. Unfortunately, Game Boy Advance cartridges can be of a different format, so don’t count on to try out them on Game Boy Color, nevertheless, common Game Boy online games will look quite a bit better in the GBA.

Extremely, you’ll be able to hook up four Game Boy Advances together and have absolutely a multiplayer frenzy, with only one cartridge required. Now that is the sweetest a part of the system. The GBA can be changing the regular Game Boy design into Gamegear-type settings, when using the motion buttons and d-pad on separate sides of the display, confer with the photographs posted. GBA may also provide a further two L and R motion buttons for the perfect gaming experience. So as to add, GBA can be launched with Game Dice, that is another one of Nintendo’s newest consoles, support, which means there might be more interplay inside the systems, in contrast to the Game Boy Colour and the popular N64.

An approximate sum of forty video games are just about ready for publishing while using the system, which is because of arrive in North America.. Anticipate to view all your favourites like Mario, in Mario Kart Advance and Mario Advance, Mega Man, Sonic, yep, Sega gave in, Hello Kitty and all the others. Additionally, you will find a pair candy-wanting racing games coming out, which I’m really wanting forward to. Anyway, GBA will supply the same great high quality of gaming that every one of us handheld system lovers anticipate, with blends of RPGs, strategy video games, puzzlers, racers, side-scrollers, action games, journey games, sports activities games and not introducing 3D games.

A friend asked me the other day about whether you could play the old gameboy games online – meaning just play them on a computer and not have to have a gameboy, GBA, Gameboy Advance or Gameboy SP etc to play the games.

She just wanted to go online to a website and be able to choose a gameboy online game. Games like Final Fantasy VI Advance or even some of the old Pokemon gameboy games like Fire Red or Leaf Green. It would be great to play these online but I am not sure if you can. I guess you would need some gameboy emulator program and then gameboy ROMs. I haven’t tried it but maybe I should search for them and see if something is available.

Does anyone know of a good gameboy online emulator?. Gameboy ROMs should be really easy to download from somewhere I guess.

Actually doing a search for an emulator I have come across a great Gameboy game to play called Yu-Gi-Oh! – Dark Duel Stories II – Duel Monsters. This would be a great ROM to download, I remember buying it a while back for me GBA. I loved YuGiOh!

And who doesn’t love Tetris, what a fantastic Gameboy game.

To use the free Gameboy Online emulator you just click it and it starts then you click a button and it pops up a menu with all the Gameboy Roms you can play in color. Wow.

details are slowly being released since it’s that time of the month in Japan. First up is the news about the supposed new 5th generation Pokemon Crater that would be revealed in the 12th Pokemon movie. All the evidence seemed to lean that way at least, however it seems now that the supposed “new” Pokemon might just be Pichu. Remember the ear of the “new” Pokemon that we saw in the trailer? it looks to me like that “new” Pokemon is just a Pichu. Pichu is a small, yellow, electric-type Pokemon after all, which fits the description. Nothing has been confirmed though, so don’t get disappointed just yet.

We also have two rough translations of the 12th movie title: “Toward Conquering the Emptiness of Space-Time” and “Towards The Overcome’s Time Space”. And since Arceus is very likely to be in the movie, its name will probably be added to the title once he is announced, as they have done in the previous movies. CoroCoro also states that we will get new information on the 12th movie at Japan’s World Hobby Fair in late January. But that’s not all! A new Pokemon will be unveiled at the World Hobby Fair as well. That sounds to me like the hidden Pokemon in the trailer is Pichu, however we’re still getting a 5th generation Pokemon in the 12th movie which will be revealed in late January.

And lastly, this bit of news should excite many Pokemon fans. we will get details on the next installment on the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon series. That’s right, we’re getting some new Mystery Dungeon titles. I enjoyed the DS ones, so I’m really looking forward to the details on the new Mystery Dungeon games. Since these details were leaked out, it’s possible we could get more details in the coming days, including clarification on if Pichu is hidden by the question mark or if it’s another Pokemon. got a better translation of the title of the 12th Pokemon movie: “To the Conquering of Space-Time”. Sounds like someone is going to take down Dialga and Palkia… Arceus maybe?

Prince of Persia

SINCE 1989 the Prince of Persia franchise has been enthralling video gamers everywhere with its blend of intense action, great graphics and immersive story lines.

Prince of Persia sticks to the formula of intense action, great graphics and immersive story lines but ups the artistic anteThe latest re-imagining of the series, simply titled Prince of Persia, sticks to this formula but ups the artistic ante.Prince of Persia looks phenomenal on the Xbox 360. The fluid graphics and soft colour palette may seem childlike, but they add to the mystique of the in-game environments and narrative.

Couple this with the engrossing storyline – another retelling of an epic battle between good and evil in mythological Persia – and the non-stop acrobatic action, and it’s possible this is the best of the Prince of Persia series. The only let down is its lack of puzzles, an abundance of which has been the hallmark of the series. The game’s ballet-style combat remains top-notch.

Fable II

THIS game takes place 500 years after the original, casting you in the role of a young male or female tasked with avenging your sibling’s death and awakening your inner hero. The richly detailed and vast world of Fable II is as impressive as the epic story that unfolds.

The game greatly expands the scope of the original Fable by adding countless customisable features that are open to hours of random manipulation.Feel like buying a house and moving in with the local wench? Go right ahead. How about dying your hair pink and walking around town naked? You can do that too, but be warned that the local constabulary might nab you for it.By far the most impressive customisation is your morality.Perform enough evil deeds and your appearance will transform you into a mean-looking hoodlum. Conversely, performing good deeds will render you a tall and dashing specimen of morality.

Shaun White

SHAUN White Snowboarding: Road Trip is proof the Wii balance board is not just a gimmick. When the balance board was released with the Wii Fit game earlier this year, there was a danger the board’s potential could be wasted on a collection of gimmicks. However, Ubisoft has married the board’s intuitive balance system with a sport perfectly suited to it: snowboarding.

The basic moves: turning, jumping and spinning, are easy to learn but mastering the tracks takes time and practice. But the rewards of pulling off a 1080, flipping over a rail or carving up Big White speak for themselves. This game will not make you a better snowboarder but it is the next best thing to actually being on the slopes.

Smackdown vs Raw

WRESTLING is high on the list of games perfectly suited to the physical nature of the Nintendo Wii.
It just makes sense that if you’re going to perform The Undertaker’s signature move, you should be moving around.WWE SmackDown vs Raw 2009 on the Wii delivers all of this, plus the usual features expected from the world’s most popular wrestling franchise.

You swipe the Wii-mote from side to side as you grind your opponent’s head on the ropes.
You can even help your character showboat in front of thousands of fans by performing some of the actions. Wrestling fans will love it, and even critics of the sport may rethink their stance, after feeling the rush that only comes from pinning your opponent to the mat and seeing them squirm.

WII Music

FANS of Guitar Hero will not like Wii Music. There are only a handful of popular songs and these are only in MIDI.But Wii Music offers something different. It’s as close as you’ll get to being a musician without playing an instrument. The skills required to play more than 60 instruments, including the piano, guitar and violin, have been reduced to simple movements. The various tunes play out as the movements are performed.

Your actions can vary the pitch, rhythm and even the way the instrument is played. It’s this improvisation that differentiates Wii Music from a game in which you hit buttons in time with music to score points. You really feel like a musician and may even be inspired to pull the guitar out of the garage and give it one more strum.

Resistance 2

THIS sci-fi shooter digs deep into the innards of Sony’s PlayStation 3 to produce a smooth-as-butter splatfest that’s also a visual treat. The original Resistance Fall of Man on the PS3 helped to demonstrate how much grunt was locked up in the PS3’s eight-core CPU, by keeping up rock-steady frame rates despite loads of good and bad dudes on the screen at once, solid enemy smarts and storms of tracer fire obeying the laws of physics. The sequel offers more of the same and extends the Resistance story from 1950s England to the US, where main character Nathan Hale must blasts through ranks of nasty, invading Chimera.

Be prepared to die a lot in this linear but challenging game. The backdrops range from open hills to misty swamps to the zombie-filled, truly spooky interiors of ruined hotels in downtown Chicago, which will have you bracing in fear as you move from room to room.
